Waterslide Bar has surfaced at Southgate Melbourne and we were there to film a launch party that saw a few hundred Melburnians turn out to experience this brand new venue with a view over the Yarra, Flinders Street Station and the city beyond. With tea cups of Tanqueray being poured, Johnnie Walker cocktails doing the rounds, and bubbles of CAPI adding sparkle to the night, guests were treated to great drinks, tasty food and beats from DJ Andy Murphy. Named after a the water chute that graced the site in the early 1900's, Waterslide Bar has launched and landed not with a splash but with a real bang.
