The Botanical
You lie on the grass in the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria breathing in the fresh air, surrounded by nature in all its glory. You've been there for hours just soaking in the beauty around you, but you realise you're hungry and thirsty. It is this icon of South Yarra that keeps the locals fed and watered, where everything is done with a sense of style and you can choose your own experience.
From the bistro at the front as you enter the door where you can experience casual modern Australian food, to the dining room menu inspired by the chef's travels through France and England, your food requirements are well and truly taken care of and that's before you even make your way to the bar with it's own little courtyard and beers on tap plus great cocktails and snacks. There's also the private dining room and the bright and beautiful Archer Room complete with glass roof, vertical garden and its own bar, perfect for functions of any kind.
Regardless of the night, there's always a constant stream of people coming to the Bot, with Wine Bar Wednesday and Steak Night Thursday always bringing in the masses.
