Plantation Pineapple Party.
Pineapple. A fruit that represents summer holidays, beach parties and of course cocktails. But there’s a little more to it than that. Those in the know will tell you that back in the day the humble pineapple was extremely rare and seen as a status symbol, representing power and wealth, with the leaves its crowning glory. Maybe that’s why bartenders hold the fruit in such high regard and the guys at Plantation Rums decided to expand their range and create their very own Pineapple Rum. Naturally the next step was to have party to celebrate the spirit and what better place than The Rum Diary Bar in Fitzroy.
This very first Plantation Pineapple Party is only the beginning, with others being rolled out nationally and around the globe in an outpouring of tropical love. In fact the rum has become so popular worldwide that demand often outstrips supply, demonstrating that even today the pineapple is just as sought after and elusive as it was 300 years ago, but now it’s in the form of a deliciously smooth, dark and complex spiced rum. ???
