Take a drive down Sydney Road in Coburg to The Woodlands Hotel. This stunning heritage building was erected in 1896 and has been transformed into one of the most beautiful and unique spaces we've come across. From Trivia Tuesdays to Cracking Curry Wednesdays and Sunday Sessions in the courtyard, you can come to The Woodlands any night of the week either with friends or on your lonesome and have a ripper time. There's also a huge dining room upstairs available for functions decked out with its own bar so you can entertain in style.
Hayden George has created a venue that fills a void in this part of Melbourne, specialising in Victorian craft beer and wine with such greats as 3 Ravens Brewery, Mornington Peninsula Brewery and Wolf of the Willows Brewing on tap. While this place is very much a local we think it should be more like a destination where you know you'll get looked after as if you lived next door.
Watch the feature and take special note of the sticky honey & soy pork ribs with American slaw…..AMAZING!

Hidden from view up a flight of stairs just like one of those 1920s speakeasies is The 18th Amendment Bar where owner Gorge Camorra is often at the door to welcome his guests.
